What do we do it for

Our vision of the future

Creating clarity and shared understanding so that teams and organizations can work together successfully. We believe that progress comes when people are really on the same page. We take care of that — by turning complexity into clear, visual stories that provide direction and connect.

We don't design those stories for teams, but together with teams. Because when you are part of the solution, you really get moving.

We make our approach and products:

Together: because engagement starts with participating.
Designing: because solutions are not ready to go, but grow in steps.
Visually: because images land faster and stick better than words ever can.
Narrative: because people remember stories, not bullet points.

This is how we draw the route to better cooperation — clear, people-oriented and goal-oriented.

The network

Robert Oude Nijhuis

Founder and Imagineer

The term Imagineer was coined by Walt Disney. It is a combination of the words Imagination and Engineering. For me, this term strikes just the right chord to describe what we do at Storylines (and what is also my great passion and expertise). Combining creativity with logic.

I facilitate teams and organizations to clarify complexity. Along the way, mutual understanding and clarity arise, and that's why I design visual stories as tangible results that provide an anchor for collaboration and connection.

Rob Jansen

Open View

Fresh perspective on complex issues

Rob is a facilitator and change expert with a keen eye for undercurrents, patterns and potential. He helps teams identify their ambitions and translate them into concrete cooperation.

From Open View, Rob works on social and organizational issues that require movement, but the route is not yet clear. He brings structure to chaos, lightness to the process and works from equality, trust and transparency.

In collaboration with Storylines, Rob contributes to trajectories in which visualizations help to slow down, deepen and accelerate — and in which there is space to give meaning together.
